Variations: Aderyn y Corff, Aderyn y Cyrff, Corpse-bird
The Aderyn y Corph or corpse-bird chirps at the door of a dying person in Wales. Its call is dewch, dewch (“come, come”). It has no feathers or wings and can soar easily without them. When not presaging death it lives in the land of illusion and fantasy.
It is a variant of the screech owl whose call portends death. Aderyn y corph is also Welsh for the screech owl or brown owl.

Since you’re now also using digital painting, what programs do you recommend for me to use? I’m doing my own creature drawings (self made though) but I’m having issues with designs

I use Photoshop, won’t claim to be knowledgeable about digital painting though, it’s trial and error for me. :S
You will need quality brushes, Kyle’s Megapack for instance.

I’ll check those out. I was using Procreate but I felt like there had to be programs that had better drawing and painting content

I can fingerpaint on Procreate. Photoshop can’t do that.
