Long time, no see and really glad to see you come back now too. Above all welcome back😁 So now how about comparisons between Western/European dragons and Eastern/Asian dragons? What do you think?☺
Happy New Year! I look forward to new posts!
Will you cover any of the nine sons of the dragon from Chinese myth? More of the European city-dragons? There’s a wealth of vaguely draconic critters out there.
Would most definetly like to see some stuff from the Pacific, especially Moari mythology as well as some more Yokai(kappa would be nice, kappa are descended(in a similar way to kelpies) from dragons called mizuchi, so that fits with 2024’s zodiac)
Hi, I noticed there is are no polish monsters on this website. Examples of missing animals: Wawel Dragon, Golden Duck, polish cockatrice, Polish Fiend (Bies).
Would you have any interest in devoting March to Abrahamic & associated creatures (Behemoth, Leviathan, Ziz, the Beast of the Apocalypse, Half-a-Rooster, Yaldabaoth, various demons, etc.) since Easter’s at the end of the month?
Hello, do you all have sources for your pages on East African mythic creatures? I’m trying to do more research on their creatures. Like Maasai, Swahili, etc.
nope, it is specifically described as a dragon. The gifts come more in the form of golden coins that the Glühschwanz drops down your chimney, if you were a bad person, it would just throw dirt at your drying meats.

My favorite dragon or serpent is Valaluval. Valaluval is also known as Valalval. Valaluval appears in Paiwan mythology.
Valaluval lives underwater, but can speak human language.
Qalamudis of the Tsulul family became Valaluval’s friend and they drank together.
Savali of the Pasusu family became Valalval’s wife, gave birth to snakes, and the couple lived together in the sea.
