Here’s a question. With tumblr down (for better or worse), would you like to see more asides, jokes, images, definitions, making-ofs, obscure modern monsters, not-appearing-in-ABCs, essays, shower thoughts, rants, and other miscellanea? Or “just stick with the encyclopedia entries ABC, you’ve done enough damage already 😡”?

  1. Yes ^_^ we definitely like to see more ….

asides, jokes, images, definitions, making-ofs, obscure modern monsters, not-appearing-in-ABCs, essays, shower thoughts, rants, and other miscellanea … etc.

Have fun, whatever gets you to smile…

  2. Whatever you’re moved to throw out here, I’m interested. Especially when it comes to Fearsomes. Especially especially ones I hadn’t already met, or beasties from other traditions that share the pulling-your-leg aspect. But I’m up for anything from the most plausibly terrifying creatures to 3 AM can’t-get-to-sleep rambles.

  3. Those all sound great to me, but you should only write about them if you want to. I come to this sight because I love folklore and mythology, yes, but I also come to it because I love to read your voice. You described yourself as “boring” in an earlier post, but I and many others will happily devour anything you cook. If you have an idea for something that tickles your fancy, that intrigues you, that makes you happy, than it’s something that you should pursue. You created this site pursuing something you enjoy, and the best path for its future is for you to continue to follow your interests.
